GC Determination of 9 Haloacetic Acids in Air and Exhaust Gas with Absorption Liquid Sampling

    • 0.1 mol·L-1 sodium hydroxide solution (40 mL)was used as absorption liquid to absorb and collect 9 haloacetic acids in air or exhaust gas. The gas flow rate was 0.5 L·min-1 and the collection time was 40 min. GC was applied to the determination of 9 haloacetic acids in absorption liquid. The analytes were separated on DB-1701 capillary chromatographic column and detected by ECD. 1,2,3-Trichloropropane was used as internal standard. Linearity ranges of the 9 haloacetic acids were found in the same range of 3.0-400.0 μg·m-3 with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.35-2.03 μg·m-3. Values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 73.7%-117%, and values of RSDs (n=6) of determined values were in the range of 3.4%-8.4%.
