Abstract
HPLC was applied to the determination of triclocarban, triclosan and methyl-triclosan in swimming pool water. The samples were enriched and purified by HLB solid phase extraction column (200 mg, 6 mL), then were separated through PICKERING-C8 chromatographic column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm). The methanol-water solution was used as mobile phase for gradient elution and the determination carried out at the detection wavelength of 281 nm. Linear relationships between values of peak areas and mass concentration of triclocarban, triclosan and methyl-triclosan were kept in the same range of 0.025-10 mg·L-1, with detection limits (3S/N) in the range of 0.007 5-0.015 mg·L-1. Values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 91.4%-104%, and values of RSDs (n=6) in the range of 2.5%-9.3%.
