Identification of Draconis Sanguis Adulterated with Resina Draconis by Thin Layer Chromatography and HPLC

    • The Draconis Sanguis samples were screened and qualitatively identified by thin layer chromatography, quantitatively analyzed by HPLC with fixed wavelength and qualitatively verified by HPLC with full wavelength scanning. Thin layer chromatogram, high performance liquid chromatogram and UV spectrum of Draconis Sanguis were significantly different from Resina Draconis, which could obviously distinguish Draconis Sanguis and Draconis Sanguis adulterated with Resina Draconis. 15 batches of Draconis Sanguis adulterated with Resina Draconis were found in 27 batches of Draconis Sanguis, with an adulteration rate of 55.6%. The results of thin layer chromatography were consistent with HPLC.
