    Research Process on Fluorescence Detection System for Microfluidic Chip

    • Microfluidic chip, also known as “lab on a chip”, has the characteristics of high efficiency, low reagent consumption, high throughput, miniaturization and integration. Many detection methods have been investigated in microfluidic chip, such as optical detection and electrochemical detection. Fluorescence detection is one of the most common methods of microfluidic detection technology. Therefore, on the basis of introducing the basic principle and optical path structure of fluorescence detection system, the research progress on fluorescence detection system for microfluidic chip from the perspectives of excitation light sources, light transmission assistance methods, and detectors, was reviewed, and its development was prospected (55 ref. cited).
