Research Progress on Analysis Techniques of Calcium Fluoride in Fluorite
-
Abstract
Calcium fluoride in fluorite is widely used in several industries, and its determination methods are still based on ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) titration. In the past two decades, with the deep application of new instruments, new determination methods such as inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) have been developed. To this end, the research progress in analytical testing techniques for calcium fluoride in fluorite was reviewed, and the technical routes, pretreatment methods, measurement approaches, technical principles, as well as interference and elimination for this substance were systematically summarized. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods were analyzed and evaluated, and relevant domestic and international determination standard methods were also briefly described. The future development trends of analysis techniques was prospected (83 ref. cited).
