    FAAS Determination of Trace Elements in Lophatherum Gracile Brongn with Microwave Assisted Sample Digestion

    • Sample of lophatherum gracile brongn from 3 different producing areas were digested with HNO3 in the rapid microwave digestion system separately, and the contents of 14 trace elements, including Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, K, Ca, Na, Mg, Ni, Pb, Cr, Co, Al and Se in the sample solutions, were determined by FAAS. Linear relationships between values of absorbance and mass concentration of the 14 elements were obtained in definite ranges. Using the sample (No.1) as matrix, appropriate amounts of standard solutions of 9 trace elements were added and test for recovery was performed. Results of recovery found were in the range of 98.1%-108.0%, with values of RSD′s (n=5) less than 8%.
