Abstract
In a BR buffer solution of pH 2.5 and under room temperature,a compound complex was formed between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and arsenazo-DBS in the presence of the surfactant OP.Absorption maxima of the complex was found at the wavelength of 516 nm,and maximum values of difference between the absorbance of the solution of BSA-arsenazo-DBS-OP system and the reagent blank solution were found at 370 nm,which was taken as the measuring wavelength.Apparent molar absorptivity found at 370 nm was 8.58×105L·mol-1·cm-1.Sensitivity of the reaction was raised by addition of appropriate amount of ethylalcohol.Beer′s law was kept in the concentration range of 0-60.0 mg·L-1.In the analysis of a substantial sample, values of RSD (n=5) and recovery found were 0.60% and 98.0% respectively.
