    ICP-AES Determination of 11 Trace Elements in Diesel Engines-NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32

    • A new method for the determination of trace amounts of 11 elements including K, Na, Al, Ca, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Ni, Zn and P, diesel engines-NOx reduction agent AUS 32 was proposed. Analytical spectral lines for the 11 elements in the determination were selected. Linear relationships between values of signal intensity and mass concentration of the 11 elements were obtained in definite ranges. Values of detection limits less than 0.010 mg·L-1. The proposed method was used in the analysis of samples of NOx reduction agent AUS 32. The results obtained were in consistency with those obtained by ISO method, and with values of recovery in the range of 95.1%-115.1% and RSD′s (n=7) less than 6%.
