    Application of Genetic Algorithm to Wavelength Selection in Near Infrared Spectrometric Analysis of Green Tea

    • Genetic algorithm (GA) was applied to wavelength selection in NIRS analysis of green tea. It was found that by the application of GA to wavelength selection,the establishment of analytical model for NIRS determination of moisture and amino acid in green tea was made much simplified,and the interferences due to irrelevant or non-linear variables were eliminated effectively,as well as the robustness of the model was also enhanced.
