Recent Advance of Application of Capillary Electrophoresis to the Analysis of Residual Presticides in Foodstuffs

A review of recent advance of application of capillary electrophoresis to the analysis of residual pesticides in foodstuffs,covering mainly the years from 2000 to 2008,was presented,which was related in 3 parts.In the 1st part,main separation modes and testing methods used generally in the capillary electrophoretic analysis of pesticides were introduced;in the 2nd part,methods of sample pretreatment used in combination with capillary electrophoresis were described;and in the 3rd part,modes of separation and methods of detection (i.e.,UV,LIF,MS and ED) used especially in capillary electrophoretic analysis of residual pesticides in foodstuffs during recent years were reviewed.A brief discussion of the future prospects and trends in this research field were also given (56 ref.cited).
