    XRFS Determination of 12 Elements in Dolomite

    • XRFS was applied to the determination of 12 elements(i.e. Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Ti and Zn)in dolomite. The sample was fused at 1 050 ℃ using Li2B4O7 and LiBO2 as flux, and LiBr as demoulding agent. The disc shaped sample was used for XRFS analysis. Working curve was prepared with 6 CRM′s of GBW07114, GBW 07216A, GBW 07217A, YSBC 11703-1995, YSBC 28722-1993 and YSBC 28723-1993. The mathematical models of matrix correction for the 12 elements were optimized. Values of RSD′s (n=11) were found in the range of 0.2%-7.3%. The proposed method was used in the analysis of a dolomite CRM, giving results in consistency with the certified values.
