Abstract
The impurity elements, including Mn, P, V, Fe, Ca, Mg, Cr and Al, in a new rich-titanium material were determined by ICP-AES. Sample was digested with HNO3, HCl HF and H2SO4 (1+1). Interference of coexisting element was tested, and interference of spectral background and matrix effect were eliminated by matrix matching and synchronous background calibration. Values of detection limits (3s) found were in the range of 0.000 9-0.085 mg·L. The proposed method was used in the analysis of sample of a new rich-titanium material, and the results obtained were in consistency with those obtained by other methods given in literature. Values of recovery of the method were found in the range of 95.8%-113% with RSD′s (n=11) less than 3.9%.
