    ANALYSIS FOR CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF ANCIENT WHITE GLAZE MADE IN KILNS OF NORTHERN CHINA BY EDXRFS PROBE

    • Energy Dispersive X-ray fluorescence Spectrometric (EDXRFS) probe was applied to the analysis for the major,minor and trace-elements in samples of ancient white glaze made in kilns of Xing,Gong,Ding and Yiyang in northern China.Through the analysis of chemical composition and the multivariable statistical analysis,regional characteristics of products from different kilns were revealed.It was found that there was close relationship between the white porcelain produced by Yiyang kiln and the white porcelain produced by Gong kiln.
