    ICP-AES Determination of Phosphorus,Copper and Silicon in Ferro-molybdenum

    • ICP-AES was applied to the determination of phosphours,copper and silicon in ferro-molybdenum.Sample of ferro-molybdenum was dissolved in aqua regia,and the sample solution was diluted quantitatively with water to a definite volume and used for AES analysis under the prescribed instrumental condition.Matrix interference was eliminated by adding appropriate amount of iron(Ⅱ) and molybdenum(Ⅵ) to the testing solutions in preparation of the standard working curve to match with the main composition of sample.Precision and recovery were tested,giving values of RSD′s (n=10) less than 4%,and recovery in the range of 95.0%-110.0%.
