    AAS Determination of Copper,Silver and Zinc in Tea with Nebulous Phase Reaction-Vapour Generation

    • A self-made bi-channel nebulizer was used in combination with instrumentation of vapour-generation atomic absorption spectrometry (VG-AAS).Raising of reaction efficiency and lowering of loss during transmission of the hydrides in vapour state were achieved by using this bi-channel nebulizer.In the application of the proposed method to determination of copper,silver and zinc in tea,detection limits (S/N=3) found were 3.6,1.6 and 0.18 μg·L-1 respectively.Tests for recovery were made with 3 tea samples,giving values of recovery in the range from 93% to 105%.
