    Principle of Simultaneous Multicomponent Analysis by the Algorithm of Mean Centering Transform of Ratio Kinetic Profiles and Its Application to Photometric Determination of Iodate and Bromate in Bread and Water Samples

    • A brief introduction of the principle of mean centering of ratio kinetic profiles was given and its application to the simultaneous determination of iodate and bromate in water and bread was proposed.Linear relationships between values of MC(D) and concentrations of either IO-3 or BrO-3 were obtained in ranges from 0.1-3.5 mg·L-1 in accordance to their linear regression equations having correlation coefficients over 0.990 0,with detection limits of 0.02 mg·L-1 and 0.01 mg·L-1 for IO-3 and BrO-3 respectively.Precision of the method was tested at the concentration level of 0.5 mg·L-1 for 10 determinations,giving values of RSD 1.96% for IO-3 and 2.84% for BrO-3.Recovery was tested by standard addition method,and values of recovery obtained were in the range of 82.2% to 100.2%.
