    GC-MS Determination of 16 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Ink with Liquid-Liquid Extraction

    • GC-MS was applied to the determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in ink with liquid-liquid extraction. After liquid-liquid extraction with dichloromethane, the sample was further purified through solid phase extraction. The DB-5MS column was used for GC separation and the selected ion monitoring mode was adopted in MS determination. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were kept in definite ranges. Detection limits (3S/N) found were ranged from 5.0 to 30 μg·kg-1. On the base of blank sample, test for recovery was made by standard addition method; values of recovery found were in the range of 60.6%-116%, with RSD′s (n=6) in the range of 1.5%-5.3%.
