Abstract
In a PBS of pH 7.6, enhancement of intensity of resonance scattering due to specific binding to form immune complex between goat anti-human pre-albumin and pre-albumin was observed. The magnitude of increase in resonance scattering intensity (ΔI) was found to keep linear relationship with the mass concentration of pre-albumin in the range of 0.067-2.82 mg·L-1 when measured at 470 nm (the maximum scattering wavelength of the reaction system). Detection limit (3S/N) of the method was found to be 0.028 mg·L-1. In its application to determination of human serum pre-albumin, values of RSD′s (n=6) found were in the range of 1.15%-3.00%.
