    Designing and Simulation of Contactless Conductivity Detection Microfluidic Chip

    • By applying the micro-fabrication technology, a contactless conductivity detection (CCD) microfluidic chip was fabricated. Various factor influential to the magnitude of output signal of the microchip system, including the excitation voltages, excitation frequency and concentrations of sample solutions and carrier solutions etc., were studied and optimized. The electrical characteristics of the CCD cell were studied by simulating the simulation circuit of the detection cell with the software of wewb 5.0. As shown by the experimental results, good consistency was obtained and the simulation circuit represented equivalently the electrical characteristics of the CCD cell.
