Application of Non-aqueous Capillary Electrophoresis to the Separation of Neutral and Chiral Compounds

A review on the content described in the article was given in this paper,relating especially to the topics on the merits and demerits of non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis (NACE);the significant potentialities of several commonly used organic solvents employed as running mediums;the reason of producing electro-osmosis and principle on its control;and on the mechanism of separation by NACE,particularly on the effects of electrostatic and solvophobic interactions on the separation of neutral and chiral compounds.
