    Visual Spectroscopic Analysis of Aluminum Alloy for the Componental Elements

    • A method of visual spectroscopic analysis of aluminum alloys for their componental elements was studied and reported. Method and parameters of excitation of aluminum alloys and their analytical spectral lines emitted in the visible spectral region were experimentally investigated. Selection of analytical spectral lines of the analyte and the internal standard was discussed and typical color spectrograms of alloying elements of aluminum alloy were taken. The proposed method was feasible to be used in qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis of aluminum alloys for the alloying elements,as well as for the identification of the designation and code of the alloys.
