Abstract
A method of GC-MS(PCI) for the determination of amount of 12 N-nitrosamines migrated from infant nipple was proposed. The sample was extracted with artificial saliva solution, and the extract was purified by passing through activated carbon SPE column which was pre-activated by dichloromethane. The DB-Wax column was used for GC separation, and the full-scanning mode and selected ion monitoring mode were adopted in MS determination. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 12 N-nitrosamines were kept in the same range of 0.01-5.0 mg·L-1, with same lower limit of determination (10S/N) of 0.001 mg·kg-1. Using nipple sample as matrix, test for recovery was made by standard addition method, giving recovery of the 12 N-nitrosamines in the range of 89.3%-95.6%, with RSD′s (n=7)in the range of 3.6 %-7.6%.
