Determination of Hydrogen Peroxide by Fluorescence Spectroscopy with 2-Aminoimidazole-Hemin as Catalyst

    • A method of fluorescence spectroscopy was established for determination of hydrogen peroxide based on the reaction of hydrogen peroxide with p-cresol catalyzed by 2-aminoimidazole-hemin analog enzyme. Under optimized conditions, the linear relationship was found between the fluorescence intensity of the system and the concentration of hydrogen peroxide was in the range of 1.02×10-8-3.07×10-5mol·L-1,with detection limit (3S/N) of 8.31×10-9mol·L-1. The method was used to analyze rain water sample, giving recovery rates in the range of 95.1%-99.0%,with RSD (n=6) in the range of 1.3%-2.5%.
