Abstract
Sample was dissolved in hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide, and its chromium content was determined by FAAS.Reductive flame of air-acetylene gas mixture was used in the atomization, and strontium salt was used as inhibitor.Conditions for chemical treatment of sample and operation of the instrument were studied and optimized.Working curve in range of 1.2 mg to 20.0 mg of chromium(Ⅲ) per L of test solution was prepared, having the correlation coefficient of 0.999.In its application to the analysis of 4 standard samples, results obtained were in consistency with the standard values.Values of RSD′s (n=5) and of recovery were found in the ranges of 2.1%-4.2% and 97%-104% respectively.
