    Head-Space GC Determination of Residual Amounts of 19 Organic Solvents in Plant Extracts

    • Head-space GC was applied to the determination of residual amounts of 19 organic solvents in plant extracts. The balanced temperature and time of head space were set out at 80 ℃ and 30 min. The analytes were separated on DB-FFAP column and detected by FID. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of 19 organic solvents were kept in definite ranges. Detection limit (3S/N) found were ranged from 0.005 to 0.2 mg·L-1.Tests for recovery were performed by addition of mixed standard of 19 organic solvents at 3 concentration levels for 6 parallel determinations, results of recovery found were in the range of 92.3%-115% with RSD′s in the range less than 8%.
