Abstract
Based on the combination reaction between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and the fluorescence probe,1-keto-2-(p-dimethylaminobenzal)-tetrahydronaphthalene (KDTN),through intramolecular charge transfer,a new method of fluorospectrophotometric determination of BSA was proposed.Under the optimum condition, fluorescence detection was made at the wavelengths of (λex) 438 nm and (λem) 530 nm.Linear relationship between values of fluorescence intensity (F) and concentration of BSA was kept in the range of 6.8-204.0 mg·L-1,corresponding to the linear regression equation ΔF=0.583 6 ρ-1.791 7 (r=0.999 1).Detection limit (3S/N) of the method was found to be 0.4 mg·L-1.Test for recovery was made by standard addition method, giving values of recovery in the range of 99.9%-102.0%.
