ICP-AES Determination of 5 Elements in Ferrosilicon

Simultaneous determination of Mn,Ca,Al,Cr and Cu in ferrosilicon by ICP-AES was reported.Working conditions of the instrument and selection of suitable analytical spectral lines for the elements were studied and optimized.Feasibility of the proposed method was proved by checking with standard samples and results obtained were in consistency with the standard values.Results of recovery test obtained were in the range of 99.0%-105.0%.
