Abstract
Sample of pork bone soup was digested with HNO3, and the content of calcium in the sample solution obtained was determined by FAAS using EDTA disodium salt as protective agent. The working conditions of the instrument were described in detail, and the wavelength of 422.7 nm was selected as analytical spectral line for the determination of Ca. Value of detection limit (3S/N) of the method was found 0.004 mg·L-1. The proposed method was applied to the determination of calcium in pork bone soup, giving values of recovery 101% (for sample with addition of vinegar) and 96.0% (for sample without addition of vinegar). Values of RSD′s (n=6) found were less than 2%.
