Determination of 32 Elements in Geochemistry Samples by Neutron Activation Analysis

    • Neutron activation analysis was used for the determination of 32 elements in geochemistry samples. By correcting the spectralline interference, Uranium fission interference, (n, p) and (n, α) reaction interference, and using epithermal neutron to active sectional elements, the accuracy of the method was enhanced and the detection limit was improved. The detection limits of the 32 kinds of elements were in the range of 2×10-8-4.48×10-4. The method was used to analyze standard substances and the measured values were in agreement with the standard values, with RSD in the range of 0.7%-10%.
