    FAAS Determination of Trace of Cu Ni and Zn in Water Sample After Separation and Enrichment by MgO Nanoparticle

    • Trace amounts of Cu,Ni and Zn in water sample were absorbed and enriched on the surface of MgO nanoparticle,and desorbed from the nanoparticle by eluting with dil. HOAc (2+98). The solution obtained was used for FAAS analysis. Under the optimum conditions,the absorption capacity of MgO nanoparticle toward Cu,Ni and Zn was found to be 8.4,9.6,8.7 mg·g-1. The values of detection limits (3σ) of this method for Cu,Ni and Zn were 5.4,7.3,4.1 μg·L-1,and RSD′s (n=10) were 3.5%,4.8%,4.4%,respectively. The proposed method was applied to the determination of trace amounts of Cu,Ni and Zn in water samples,giving the values of recovery in the range of 96%-103%.
