    FAAS Determination of Fertilizer Retention Capacity of Resin with High Hydro-absorptivity

    • A method for the determination of fertilizer retention capacity of highly hydroabsorptive resin was reported.Resin was immersed in the solution of the fertilizer containing micro amounts of Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ).After water absorbing and expansion,the resin was filtered,and amounts of Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) in the resin were determined by FAAS.Results of retention capacity of Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) ion by the fertilizer can be obtained via calculation.RSDs of the determination were less than 5% and recoveries were in range of 92.1%-103.6%.
