Abstract
In an acid medium, the sample of environmental water was digested with KBrO3-KBr solution, and the content of Hg was determined by AFS.Influential factors, including negative high-voltage,lamp current, height of atomizer, the rates of carrier, the concentration of potassium borohydride, the concentration and kinds of carriers, and interferences of coexisting ions were studied and optimized.Linear relationship between values of fluorescence intensity and mass concentration of Hg found was in the range within 1.0 μg·L-1,with detection limit (3s/k) of 0.000 6 μg·L-1 and RSD (n=15) of 0.9%.The proposed method was applied to the analysis of lake water in campus, giving values of recovery in the range of 92.8%-108.3%.
