    Determination of Pueraria Flavonoid by Flow Injection Chemiluminescence Method

    • A method of flow injection chemiluminescence was proposed for the determination of pueraria flavonoid, based on the decreasing effect of pueraria flavonoid on Luminol-H2O2 chemiluminescence system. Under the optimum conditions, linear relationship was found between the decrease of chemiluminescence intensity and the mass concentration of pueraria flavonoid in the range of 0.50-30.0 mg·L-1, with detection limit of 0.08 mg·L-1. The method was applied for the determination of pueraria flavonoid in pueraria lobata, giving results in agreement with that obtained by UV spectrophotometry, with RSD (n=5) in the range of 2.9%-3.5%. The recovery rates measured by standard addition method were in the range of 96.4%-102%.
