    HG-AFS Determination of Arsenic in Human Hair

    • HG-AFS was applied to the determination of arsenic in human hair.Sample was digested with mixture of HNO3 and HClO4(10+1),and determined in a medium of HCl(5+95) solution using the mixed solution of 20 g·L-1 KBH4 and 5 g·L-1 KOH as reducing reagent.Influential factors,including negative high-voltage,lamp current,the flow-rates of carrier gas and shielding gas,concentration of pre-reduction agent,and interferences of coexisting ions were studied and optimized.Detection limit (3s) of the method found was 0.006 0 μg·g-1.The proposed method was applied to the analysis of a standard reference material (GBW 07601),giving results in consistency with standard values.
