Abstract
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) were separately applied to the rapid determination of residual malachite green (MG) and leucomalachite green (LMG) in crucian samples. Values of recovery of both methods found were compared. When the standard of MG and LMG were added in the range from 5.0-50.0 μg·kg-1 to crucian samples, the mean values of recoveries of HPLC determinations ranged from 68.2% to 90.0% with RSD′s (n=7) less than 7.0%,and detection limit of 2 μg·kg-1;while the mean values of recoveries of EIA determinations ranged from 72.4% to 92.3%,with RSD′s (n=7) less than 7.0%,and detection limit of 1 μg·kg-1. Both of the methods were characterized by their high efficiency, rapidity and stability, and were feasible to be used in the daily routine analysis.
