Recent Progress of Researches on Spectral Interference and Its Correction in ICP-AES Analysis

A review was given on the recent progress of spectral interferences (including overlapping of spectral lines and background) and its correction in ICP-AES analysis, relating especially to methods of correction, including modification of instruments, selection of suitable spectral lines, background correction, coefficient correction, standard addition, spectral line fitting, Kalman filter and derivative spectrometry (58 ref. cited).
