Abstract
Samples of aluminum alloys taken from electrical and electronic products were digested with dil HCl by heating to≤90 ℃ under reflux-cooling,and ICP-AES was applied to the determination of lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury simultaneously.Limits of detection (3s) for these elements were found in the range of 0.001 8-0.019 mg·L-1.Precision of the method was tested giving RSD′s (n=11) of 0.16% (for Pb),0.20% (for Cd),0.28% (for Cr) and 3.71% (for Hg).Test for recovery was made by the standard addition method, and the values obtained were in the range of 92.3%-96.1%.
