Chemical Atomic Emission Spectrometric Determination of 12 Elements of Micro-Amounts in (Gd,U)O2 Chips

Abstract
Microamounts of Al,Ca,Cr,Fe,Mg,Mo,Ni and Ti in (Gd,U)O2 chip were separated from the matrix uranium by reverse-phase partition chromatography on column packed with tributylphosphate-polyfluoroethylene. Ions of the 12 element in the eluate from the column were determined by ICP-AES. Range of determination was from 20 to 800 μg·g-1 on the base of 100 mg of sample. Precision and recovery were tested and the values found were in the ranges of (RSD′s) 4.6%-9.2% and 93%-110% respectively.
