Abstract
GC-MS was applied to the comparative study of ultrasonic and soxhlet extraction methods for tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymers (ABS). The optimized conditions of ultrasonic extraction were as follows: solvent was dichloromethane; temperature was 30 ℃; time was 60 min. The optimized conditions of soxhlet extraction were: solvent was toluene, reflow cycles were 4 times per hour for 12 h. Linear relationship between values of peak area and mass concentration of TBBPA was kept in the range of 1.00-100 mg·L-1. Extraction rate of soxhlet extraction was higher than that of ultrasonic extraction. RSD (n=6) of soxhlet extraction found was 2.1%, and values of recovery found by standard addition method were in the range of 80.4%-85.7%.
