FAAS Determination of Cadmium in Blood of White Mouse with Micro Sample Introduction

The blood plasma and red blood cell in blood of white mouse were separated by centrifugation.The red blood cell was digested with HNO3 and H2O2.The content of Cd in blood plasma and red blood cell was determined by FAAS with micro-sample introduction system of 300 μL.Linear relationship between values of absorbance and mass concentration of Cd was obtained in the range of 0.050-0.600 mg·L-1,with detection limit (3s/k) of 2.2 μg·L-1.Value of recovery by standard addition method was found to be 97.1% with RSD′s (n=6) of 3.0%.The proposed method was used in the determination of Cd in blood plasma and red blood cell in blood samples of white mice which had been fed with 0.1 g·L-1 Cd(NO3)2 solution for 15 days,and the content of Cd of test group was 7 times higher than that of the control group.
