    Microwave Resonance Perturbation-Determination of Moisture in Paper Processing Reclaimed Tobacco

    • Method for determination of moisture in paper-processing reclaimed tobacco based on the microwave resonance perturbation technique was reported in this paper. Different parameters of microwave measurements and calibration model for moisture content in paper-processing reclaimed tobacco were studied by applying the algorithm of linear least square. As compared with the method of the standard YC/T 16.3-2003,the overall deviation of the proposed method was less than 0.4%,which was conformed to the requirement of the standard method. The speed of response of the testing was only 0.1 ms.
