Abstract
It was found that in a supporting electrolyte solution of 0.05 mol·L-1 KCl (pH 8.3),a sensitive polarographic reduction peak produced by naringin was observed at the peak potential of -1.31 V (vs.Ag/AgCl electrode) using linear sweeping polarography.Linear relationship between values of peak current and concentration of naringin was obtained in the range of 2.0×10-6~1.5×10-5mol·L-1.Based on this electrode reaction,a method for determination of flavonoids was proposed.Voltammetric behavior of the reaction was studied by linear sweeping and cyclic voltammetry. As shown by the experimental results, the electrode reaction was an irreversible process, having adsorptive characteristic..
