    GC Determination of Traces of Louis′ Agent in Air with Derivitization and Thermodesorption

    • Air sample was collected in stainless steel sampling tube through suction by SKC sampling pump at the rate of 330 mL·min-1 for a definite time.Louis′ agent (L.A.in short) or in its chemical name 2-vinylchloride-dichloro-arsine,was adsorbed and enriched on the adsorbant.The process of derivatization (with 3,4-dimercaptotoluene) and thermodesorption was carried out in the sampling tube under the prescribed conditions.The parameters of the thermodesorption were optimized by applying the methods of Plackett-Burman designing,center composite designing and response camber.Simulated air samples containing separately 116.2 mg·L-1 and 1.162 g·L-1 of the L.A.were analyzed by the proposed method,the results obtained achieved values of recovery of 77.1% and 99.4% respectively.
