    Chiral Separation of Enantiomers of 1-Methyl-3-Phenylpropylamine by High-performance Capillary Electrophoresis

    • Based on a thorough study on the experimental conditiuons,including the acidity and buffer solution of the reaction medium,concentration of the selective chiral agent (hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin,abbreviated as HP-β-CD),column temperature and separation voltage,a method for chiral separation of enantiomers of 1-methyl-3-phenylpropylamine by HP-capillary electrophoresis was proposed.Under the conditions of ① 15 mmol·L-1 phosphate buffer of pH 7.6,② using 20 g·L-1 HP-β-CD as selective chiral agent,③ temperature of the capillary column of 18 ℃ and ④ separation voltage of 15 kV,enantiomers of 1-methyl-3-phenylpropylamine were satisfactorily separated within 4 min,with value of Rs 1.65.
