    Determination of 8 Estrogens in Water by Combined Use of Derivatization-GC-MS and Yeast Reagent Kit

    • Eignt estrogents, including estradiol, estrone, estriol, estradiol valerate, diethylstilbestrol, ethynyl estradiol, bisphenol A and 4-nonylphenol, in various water samples were determined by combined use of derivatization-GC-MS and yeast reagent kit, and their effects were compared. It was found that the contents and effects of the 8 estrogents could be determined simultaneously by the above 2 method in combination, thus giving a more comprehensive expression of pollution level of estrogens in water. Mutual authentication between concentration and effect of estrogents was achieved, which could exclude the phenomenon of false-positive in using a single method only.
