    GC-MS Determination of Volatile Components of the Seeds of Camphor Tree with Solid Phase Micro-extraction

    • The volatile components of the seed of comphor tree were separated and identified by solid phase micro-extraction and GC-MS in hyphenation, and their relative contents (in %) were found by the method of normalization. Totally 76 compounds were separated among which 47 compounds were identified and determined, amounting to 97.4% of the total peak areas of the volatile components. The main compounds found were as follows (relative %): camphor (57.89%), limonene (12.68%), α-pinene (4.42%), camphene (2.69%), aromadendrene (2.34%), o-cymene (2.26%), β-pinene (2.12%).
