    Determination of Calcium Dobesilate at Multi-walled Carbon Nanotube Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

    • Preparation of multi-walled carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode (MWCNT′s/GCE) was reported in this paper.It was found that significant catalytic action of the MWCNT′s/GCE was observed on the reaction of calcium dobesilate (CD) at the electrode,showing a pair of oxidation and reduction peaks at the modified electrode,with potential difference of oxidation peak and reduction peak reduced to a value of 93 mV as compared with the reaction at the bare GCE.Base on these findings,a selective method for determination of CD by cyclic voltammetry was proposed.Linear relationship between values of oxidation peak current and concentration of CD was obtained in the ranges of 5.0×10-8-1.0×10-5,with detection limit (3S/N) of 2.0×10-8mol·L-1.
