    GFAAS Method for Determination of Pb in Phosphoric Acid Used as Food-Additive

    • Lead in phosphoric acid used as food-additive was directly determined by GFAAS method.Palladium nitrate was used as matrix modifier and background absorption was corrected by deuterium lamp.Recovery was ranged in 94.0%-104.3% with RSD′s(n=6) ≤3.9% and with deterction limit of 0.15 pg.Results were compared with the National Standard method GB 3149-1992 and with ICP-AES method,the proposed method was proved to be more accurate than the GB 3149 method and has a lower detection limit as compared with the ICP-AES method.
