Progress of Application of Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy to Researches on Animal Nutrition

A review on the application of near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) to researches on animal nurition was presented, relating especially to its basic principle and applications to researches of animal nutrition, including evaluation of nutritive value for animal feed and diet, estimation of animal feed intake, digestive ability and health conditions and etc. (37 ref. cited).
