    ICP-MS Determination of Chromium and 7 Other Trace Elements in Urine Samples

    • The urine sample was treated by microwave assisted digestion with a mixed solution of HNO3-H2O2(1+1),and 8 trace elements in the solution,including Cr,V,Mn,Co,Zn,As,Se and Pb,were determined by ICP-MS.Matrix effect was corrected with 115In as online internal standard,and the polyatomic ion interferences of 52Cr+,75As+,80Se+ and 51V by 40Ar12C+,40Ar35Cl+,40Ar40Ar+,35Cl16O+,35Cl16O1H+ were eliminated by collision/reaction cell technology with He/H2 as collision reaction gas.Detection limits (3s) of the 8 elements were in the range of 0.006-0.360 μg·L-1.The proposed method was used in the analysis of a urine standard reference material,the results obtained was in conformity with standard values.
